Past pupil news😊

We are delighted to announce that one of our past pupils and former Head Boy Darren Finnegan has become one of Northern Ireland’s Barristers.

Darren was a pupil in St Joseph’s for 5 years from 2004 - 2009 and then went to St Colman’s College from 2009 - 2011. After school he worked as a lorry driver before he returned to 3rd level education in 2015 at Queens University, Belfast, studying Law. Darren graduated from Queens in 2018 with a Law degree.

He progressed further with his studies at Queens University and began training for the Bar at the Institute of Professional Legal Studies. Yesterday he received confirmation that he has successfully passed the Bar exam.

We are delighted with Darren’s success and wish him every good wish in his new role as a Barrister!
