​Aims

Information and Communications Technology (ICT) is concerned with how technology is used in our everyday lives.   Today, computers are used in a range of ways by helping to communicate, store information and find solutions to problems.  Students will develop their ICT knowledge and skills by using a range of software packages.

KS3​

Throughout Key Stage 3 students will develop various skills in many software applications such as:

 

  • Microsoft Office

  • Pixel Art

  • Photoshop

  • Scratch

  • Gamemaker

  • Windows Movie Maker

  • BBC Micro bit

  • Microsoft Expression

KS4

Students who wish to study ICT at Key Stage 4 will follow the BTEC ICT syllabus.
