Eleven of our Year 12 boys took part in Peer-Paired Reading Training today as part of the Count Read Succeed Programme.
St Joseph’s hosted the event where representatives from St Mary’s High School and Newry High came along to take part in the training. Many thanks to Kate O’Hanlon for delivering the training.
Our Y12 boys will now spend 8 weeks helping some boys in Y8 with their comprehension of words and texts. They will hopefully be able to share some positive results!
