During her visit to St Joseph's, Education Minister Mrs Michelle McIlveen took the opportunity to praise the efforts of the RE department in its recent Christmas appeal in support of Newry Helping the Homeless.
KS4 pupils showed the Minister a sample pile of food, clothing and toy donations that have been collected over the last few weeks.
Mr Fearon took great delight in praising the outstanding efforts of staff, pupils and their families in the benevolent acts of kindness that will undoubtedly make a significant difference to many within our community over Christmas.
